Lester Special

1 1/2 cups macaroni, cooked
1 medium onion, chopped
2 tablespoons bacon drippings
1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef
Salt and pepper to taste
Dash of liquid red pepper seasoning
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 can (8 oz) tomato sauce
Tomato catsup
Sharp grated cheddar

Lightly brown onion in melted drippings in heavy skillet. Add ground beef seasoned with salt, pepper, red pepper seasoning and Worcestershire sauce, and brown lightly, stirring to separate beef.

Add tomato sauce; cover and simmer for about 15 minutes. Mix with cooked macaroni and add 1 or 2 tablespoons catsup and a bit of water if mixture seems too dry.

Turn into casserole and top with grated cheese. Bake 15 or 20 minutes at 350 degrees. Yield 6 servings.
